Staff Accountant
John serves as the Staff Accountant for RBO & Co., handling bookkeeping and financial reporting. John also focuses on information technology (IT), compliance support and special projects that support the leadership team.
John came to RBO after working in accounting for the Town of Windsor and previously for the County of Sonoma. In both positions, John maximized technology integrations to improve existing processes and the efficiency and accuracy of financial reporting. John also worked on the Investment Services Team for Redwood Credit Union and as a Legal Assistant and Network Administrator for multiple law firms. John graduated cum laude from Sonoma State University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and completed a Master of Public Administration (MPA) program in 2021.
John is a native of Northern California, born and raised in Eureka. He is an accomplished multi-instrumental artist, having performed with the likes of members of the Peter Gabriel band and Journey, among others. John and his wife reside in Windsor with their two children.
